Communications

At the Church of the Holy Apostles, there are a variety of ways to communicate and receive information. For all submission, postings or inquires, contact the administrative assistant, Donna Valentine at office@holyapostles.ang-md.org.

You are currently on our web site www.holyapostles.ang-md.org.

The monthly newsletter of the Church of the Holy Apostles is The Epistle. Submissions for publication are due on the 20th of each month. The newsletter is mailed at the end of each month to parishioners, regional Episcopal churches and friends of the parish.

Email is used for communicating all-parish bulletins when necessary. Parishioners who would like to be added to this list should advise the administrative assistant. Holy Apostles does not send parish email communications to non-parishioners or sell its mailing lists to third parties.

Bulletin boards hang throughout the church publicizing various activities. There is a bulletin board in the fellowship hall dedicated to sign-up sheets for ministries and activities. If you would like to participate, simply sign your name on these sheets.

“Narthex” is a term used to describe the entrance area leading into the church. At Holy Apostles, the main, wooden doors from the parking lot to the worship space lead to the narthex. The counter in this room has sign-up sheets identical to those in the fellowship hall for your convenience. The narthex is also where you can find information packets for newcomers, the book for altar flowers, and a variety of information leaflets.

Publicity in local newspapers for parish events and services is available. If you need publicity for a specific upcoming parish event, speak with Deb Allen, chair of the CORE Committee.
