Fellowship
The Church of the Holy Apostles is a church that places a high priority on Christian fellowship. The warmth and friendliness of parishioners is important in our life as a community. All activities, regardless of their principal goal, encompass an element of fellowship. The coffee hour following the later service is a weekly occasion for socializing. Yet, other activities, like a parish clean-up day, or outreach programs such as KERMIT, our Mississippi rebuilding mission, incorporate fellowship, as well. We experience the fellowship of working together on fundraisers like pumpkin sales and Basket Bingo, and find we are drawn together in our all efforts with a sense of accomplishment and joy.
Recent fellowship activities included a visit to the National Portrait Gallery and a trip to New York City. Examples of past activities include evenings at the Wilson Art Gallery, Orioles baseball, Toby’s Dinner Theater, and traveling to Hershey Park.
